Mad River, California
A small community in Trinity County 60 miles south east of Eureka, California on Highway 36. In Mad River you will find a Store, Happy Dayz ice cream parlor, a Post Ofice, the Burger Bar, the Six RIvers Lodge, and the Lamb Creek Church. One mile west, across the "Low Gap" ridge in the Van Duzen river valley you will find a Six RIvers Forest Service Office, the area's Grade School, High School and a Clinic.
