Ferndale, a town in Humboldt County 5 miles off of highway 101 about 15 miles south west of Eureka, California, is referred to as the "Victorian Village." The streets are packed with victorian charm and gingerbread houses. Ferndale has caught the fancy of Hollywood and was used as a location for movies such as Outbreak and The Majestic. Here you will find the Humboldt County Fairgrounds.
