Ruth lake was created in 1964. The Journey's End started life as Lindsey's Lakeside Tavern according to this 1960s post card pictured here.

The name changed to The Journey's End in the late 1980s.

The current owners, Brian and Trish Greggi, acquired The Journey's End in December of 1998.
